This is a video of Keith Larocque reviewing and showing the problems with his Tilite ZRA series 2 wheelchair. Keith shows the problem with backrest excessive play, broken carbon fibre release bar and the broken carbon fibre axle tube.
He has had this chair since October 2010 and is still experiencing problems with the chair until this video was posted. Hopefully these problems will be fixed soon.

  • @ricksbulbs Sorry to hear about your Q7. It is very frustrating having issues with the equipment that us wheelchair users require. The life stand helium is actually quite light for what it does, and I'm quite happy with it. Luckily I didn't have total failure with lock cam. But due to my spasms it was quite scary on occasions while using this chair when it was broken. I am from Canada and we Canadians pronounce the letter Z as zed. Do you have stocks in Tilite? Y U MAD BRO?

  • Finally received the updated parts. Finally fixed! 2 days with no issues yet

  • The chair I am on in the video is a lifestand helium standing chair. This chair on the other hand has been perfect. Yes there is many forum discussions on the problems of the zras2 problems at carecure

  • I have had better experiences trying to have problems resolved. I have heard of many cases of the sloppy backrest, and a few of the camber tube issue. I am still waiting to have the chair fixed.

  • o! And it's NOT a 'Zet-R-A" it's a ZEE-R-A---cut the hip-hop shit language---if ya want a hip hop chair, get a Colours with the 'riiiimz' and spinnerz! I had a Colours Eclipse, and it was DEF NOT hip-hop garbage. I had it set up with spinergies, frog legs and standard hardware. It's a Zra not a Zet RA please.

  • I saw another clip of this back--and it shows a closeup of the lock cam---this is NOT a major issue---it's just a bit too slack in the fit to the lock pin---and shouldn'd cause total failure. I now wouldn't worry about this "issue" as I can either use updated hardware or fix it with a grub screw to take up the slack. This chair still runs circles around mt junk-assed Q7--now THAT is a crap chair at it's finest! I plan to make a 3 wheeler out of it soon because of the caster issues!

  • The other chair he is using is easily recognizable as a Lifestand Helium standing chair. This thing must weigh at least 500 pounds! LOL! Seriously, there's alot of parts in this thing and it is likely pretty hefty. Damaged shoulders, anyone? I'll take my homebuilt power stander instead thank you very much.

  • I have a Quickie Q7, and it's also full of issues! The front casters will not stay tight and I have to disassemble the frog legs to get to the bolts! The chair has many other issues, and I really want a Ti ZRA. Can anybody make a good chair today? I'm using my old GPV Competition now--heavy, awkward, and also a piece of crap. If I get a Ti, will I not solve my issues? I think I should look into a chrome E&J--sheesh! Maybe a series 1 is better? I do hate my Q7 tho and distrust it now!
