@donnyab Even if they tought it was weird, I think they should have acted normally. On Earth are a lot of diffrent civilizations, so we must act suitable.

I worked with some Romanian guys and they were always shaking my hand, then I stopped working with them and I continued trying to shake hands with people of my own nationality and they began to think I was weird and it all got embarassing and very disconcerting.
What we need are globalized people that all have the same customs.

But then again, there's always "ugs" and "clicks" from tinkerbells. :P

in romania we just wave when we see each other and only if we are good friends or near relatives we kiss on the cheek(this happens on fem-fem and fem-man) and between mans (it dosen`t matter if they are relatives or anything else) they shake hands.:)

In Texas we wave, shake hands and/or hug but no kisses unless at least one of you is Hispanic and you are both female. Then you peck on the cheek if you know them pretty well. I do get confused sometimes whether I should hug or not. I guess girls usually hug. Guys either one.

hahha1 Nice video, well here in Chile we always say hello with a kiss on the cheek for women and a handshake for men; hugs are for friends or relatives...xD

Oh well. What I do is that I don't give a rat's butt and just give 'em a peck on the cheek, with my lips right there, planted on her cheek. If it's a guy, handshake. If I feel like the mod is right, half hug. :)

Quando eu fui a São Paulo, eu achei muito esquisito porque em geral as pessoas se cumprimentam apertando mãos e beijando de um lado só. Aqui onde eu moro, Salvador-BA, varia demais de pessoa pra pessoa e eu nunca sei o que fazer, me sinto socialmente inapta, rs. Por essas e outras, toda vez que eu preciso cumprimentar alguém, a vontade que eu tenho é de sair correndo e gritando. Achei que fosse a única até assistir ao seu vídeo. :)

eh verdade Leticia ... ja fui correndo me esconder bastante vezes... Meu pesadelo eh um dia precisar cumprimentar o time de volleyball feminino...juro que vou morrer. :P
