Zimbabwe, Africa An Initiation

As your understanding of your place in the world continues to develop you begin to comprehend your spiritual path within an evolutionary context. You discover that life is no longer about merely transcending the world but about embracing what it means to consciously co-create the future. Until very recently, Spirit, or the Creative Principle, was something that we asked help from. We've reached a time in our evolution, however, when Spirit, which is the energy and intelligence that created our universe, is who we actually are as our Authentic Self. From this place we offer ourselves to Spirit.

This mysterious impulse to evolve is nothing less than Spirit becoming aware of herself, himself, itself, as you. In this awakening, you directly know that the future depends upon you. Traditionally, the vision seeker would aspire to transcend ego in order to abide in the timeless ground of being. But this is not really what the world needs now. All of us must resist the temptation to get lost in timelessness and begin to embrace the overwhelming urgency of these times when we are being called to bridge the gap between our capacity to intellectually appreciate the world's problems and our willingness to actually become the solution ourselves.
