@scrap222666 God can be glorified through many vessels. When I listen to uplifting music, God is being glorified through the artist's ability to be creative. When I attend school, God is glorified through the opportunities that He has given me to learn and gain an education. But when I read Twilight all those years ago, God was not glorified. I didn't praise Him or thank Him once. He cannot be found in a piece of literature that promotes evil things. He is light, and in Him there is no darkness.

@andStack You might be surprised at how far people take that stuff. I agree. When I read it, It's just fiction. But there are seriously mental people out there who are searching for ANYTHING to attach to, because they feel like they've been hurt by christians or christianity in general so they go gaga over this stuff. Just being on the internet, I've seen numerous sites within the past hour promoting vampire games or sites. It's really sickening if you think about it.

My point was more that he didn't think it was necessary to explain why "The Sorceress" was a bad book to read. He basically was like "Oh The Sorceress. Obviously evil."

My bigger problem is that he seems to have a problem with fantasy. I can read Harry Potter and not engage in witchcraft. I know it's not real and I think it's ridiculous to forbid myself from reading it.

It is common knowlegde if you're not in the world and have spiritual discernment ... I'm not saying you're not but trust me ppl know the difference ... Go in Barnes n Nobles or any Christian book store and look at the books in the Christian section ... Non of them even remotely resemble the books he showed in this video ...

The moment this man condemned Stephanie Meyer for being a Mormon, and began to bash on another religion as being "wrong", he lost what little credibility he had to me.

I agree with the whole pedophile aspect though, and I've been saying for years its just as creepy for older woman to scream and squeal over a 16-17 year old boy as it is for a man to scream over a 16 year old girl.

I like how a book can be forbidden because it's called "The Sorceress". He acts like it's common sense that all these books shouldn't be read. Even if you accept that magic is bad, a book called "The Sorceress" could be about how sorcery is bad.

it's to symbolize a covenant... nothing evil about it...in fact totally clean and true.

But come on' demons starting the mormon religion?? Both Christianity and mormonism are far fetched stories that people decide to believe in.
