Who does the 911 EMS runs I mean what ambulance company?
-
Is this a paid, volley or combo department? How many runs per year? Do you do EMS first response?
-
why does a captain get his own truck?
-
@fireengineme Captain unit? Never heard of that. At the station my aunt (an Asst. Chief) works at They have 1 chief,1 asst chief, and one muti purpose vehicle. Never heard of a Captian unit

any alarm at a "place of assembly" should have minimum of 1 engine, truck, medic, and chief. idk thats weird.
-
so how come they only sent an engine and a captain from this station when the other videos have 2 ladders and 2 engines
-
nice
-
The street the station is located is not a busy street they use the Q when they need to, like on main roads...

that door is door #1 the fire prevention truck and the fire alarm p/u truck in that bay in bay 2 is squad 1 in bay 3 is ladder 1 in bay 4 is engine 7 in bay 5 is engine 6 (spare engine) and bay 6 would be the captain unit 415 and the fire chief unit 420

ladder 1 can only park in bay 3 because of its weight and that section is where the floor was reinforced to handle the weight of ladder 1 if you ever saw clips of the old ladder 1 it was a single axle and only 100ft ladder this new one is two axles and 105 ft ladder
