@Demilich84 Because Mohammed plays in a classical style as opposed to Jazzy - and don't think I'm bashing shit - doesn't mean he's not as an accomplished of a musician in terms of technique. Stylistically they're just different. Who knows, what if Mohammed starts studying and playing Jazz forms? I think it'd be insane.

One of the best death metal bands around. Mixing jazz-like techniques like Atheist had with gutteral vocals, creating a musical genius. Recorded in the early 90's, but still NO 'technical' death metal band has made a better album than Nesphite. Demilich EASILY overpowers Necrophagist and other bands like that.

So true, I liked Necrophagist at one stage but they got fucking boring after a while, at least Demilich keep you on your feet, so much variation in their style.
As someone said you can't compare the two bands, SO TRUE because Necrophagist aren't even in the same league as Demilich, the difference being is they worked as a band, Necrophagist is Mohammed, no one else, Widdley diddley death metal.
DEMILICH RULE! We want a new album Antti!
