I think amethyst did well with the interpretation of this song. When God entered the world incarnate, He not only came to redeem humankind, but St. Paul says in the scriptures that "all of creation" was redeemed.
Amethyst, thanks for the posting your interpretation. In it, I see the beauty of God's creation, and thus makes me even more grateful that God humbled himself to become one of us, yet fully Divine.
