The same thing doesn't apply for my technique because it is my video. Machine guns own by civilians are used for target shooting. No civilian is going to use their $10k MG for defence. My technique gives a civilian the chance to own a firearm that can accurately mimic the rate of fire of a real machine gun.

@tapper45 The Akins was Banned because it practically automates bumpfiring. (The trigger finger only actually functions once.) Without the spring installed, they are still legal because the person shooting the firearm must bump fire it himself. The SSAR15 is still on the market for that reason most likely. It is almost subject to opinion, I know. However, devices that merely assist with bumpfire seem to be going strong.

Everyone is so serious. The rubber band is a novelty. I thought it was funny and genius at the same time but didn't take it seriously. The only time when I take it seriously is when some idiot points a gun at me. Then I have something to worry about.

Maybe this could work with my H&K? It was made for full auto and modded to be semi so I know It can take it

hey everyone... SHUT THE FUCK UP. this is cool and could come in handy some day when russians invade! so take a mental note and thats that.

@NineMMAR15 Its the ATF, the laws don't apply to them.

bumpfiring withan attached device (depending on the device) is considered illegal by the batfe and they prosecute it.
it doesn't take any balls to put up with assholes (like yourself) he just ignores the comments he wants to.
we already had our conversation prior to your ridiculous little intrusion.
no one gives a fuck what you think.
if they did, you'd be getting emails asking your opinion.
as it is, i'm reasonably sure that the emails you do get are pretty negative.

@tapper45 Then why the fuck did you say it was illigal? Apperently not everyone does know what it is including you. I dont give a shit if anyone cares if i liked the vid im just saying he did a nice job and hes got balls for putting up with assholes like yourself. No one gives a flying fuck if your ex-military a rebublican or a red neck. Im also pro gun partially a red neck and wasnt trying to piss you off but you had to take my comment the wrong way. I thought you were some liberal city slicker

no one cares if you liked the vid.
quit trying to define bumpfiring, everyone knows what it is and that it is not illegal.
if you read my posts and have an average understanding of the english language and you STILL don't agree with what i'm saying then you're an idiot with absolutely zero understanding of nfa law.
i am a pro-gun, pro 2nd amendment , retired military, republican, self described redneck gun nut with a college degree.
fuck you and grow your own pair.

@tapper45 Yeah read what you posted smarty, designed or re-designed... what if he "accidentally" put it on or it "magically" appeared? then he didnt purposly put it on XD. anyway bumpfiring is pulling the trigger over and over the recoil just assists him pulling it. Now stop trying to get rid of our rights and go grow a pair! BTW i loved the vid.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
the only problem i see with ATTACHING a string (for the ak family) or rubber band to an ar (1st time i've seen this) is that it's illegal.
if you read the letter of the law (NFA), it says ANY PART DESIGNED OR REDESIGNED and intended solely and exclusively, for use in converting a weapon to a machinegun IS a machinegun.
the batfe issued a letter around 2003-2005 stating that this practice is in direct violation of nfa law and that they would prosecute.
google it, they already have convictions.

You are missing the most important part of the definition of a MG "any weapon that shoots, is designed to shoot, or can readily be restored to shoot, automatically by a single function ("pull") of the trigger. The rubber band does not depress the trigger, it puts forward tension on it making it harder to pull.
Explain why I can get the same ROF without a rubber band installed?
If the definition of a MG were to include a measureable rate of fire, then I would be doing something illegal.
