Collaborative Community Expo 2006

www.solutions.org.au - This was an idea to offer a community expo that focused on solutions, collaboration and networking essentially for the community service sector.

Within the theme of collaboration stands and displays were manned by workers from other organisations for 30 minutes (participants had to learn and teach a bit about the organisations they were representing - a great educational tool)...

We also played collaborative community poker where all participants were given a giant playing card and when a hand was called, had to make up the hand with cards and individuals from five different organisations... Great fun...

Oh and there were free cappuccinos and food...

The Virtual community warehouse (VCW) was one of the most powerful projects to come out of this celebration.
