it has all the elements of everything good in 98.... I saw them live in 98, trumpets, amazing bass, her haunting voice, even tasteful scratch....

Csn you imagine Rihanna trying to sing this type of stuff? I cringe at the thought... There is no mention of penis and the repition of yeah, oh, ah, nah, eh, and baby, to cover for the fact that she can't sing.

oldie but a goodie, eh! Yes, she is Canadian, from around Toronto I think. Breathe From Another was a collab with a musician/producer guy from Minneapolis, I think, going by the name of "Doc". The record was actually recorded at Doc's studio and they submitted it as a "demo" to the label...which said, uhhhh, it's too good to be a demo, we're selling it as is! Which is unheard of these days to have such a technically advanced recording go from home to broadcast, with no label intervention!

I firts heard Country Livin' on chris rock's movie "I think I love my wife. The song instantly caught my attention so much..that i had to fast forward to the end of the movie . once i found who the singer was ..i looked her up..and fell in love with the whole CD. This was back in 2007. I listen to the Cd all of the time..and i'm black.
