  • @Orgyfan6 All those claims have been discredited. Search, Iraqi body count or any other reliable source of information, the death count is around 100 thousand. A lot, but not just inflicted by the US. Many of those deaths were from Al Zaqarwi and between Shiites and Sunnis. Also the US did not intentionally kill innocent civilians. Many civilians died in WW2 that doesn't make it unjust.

  • @OhmgrownCron you are a fool! over a million have died do to the US attacke on Iraq.

  • @ExposingTheism Oh you mean the almost-million that died by the tyrannical regime of Saddam Hussein? Or the 100,000 that have died by not just American but by sunni extremists since 2003?

  • @SkyFortStudios I like Hitchens but on this subject history has proved him a fool.

I am not impressed at his sitinh of Patric Cockburn, both patric and his brother think that Christopher is a fool.

  • Unless you have a resume like Hitchens did and walked the streets and saw these countries first hand, you reeeeeeally can't say for sure how it's like over there can you?

  • Why is everybody referring to Hitchens in the 'present tense'? Don't you guys know he's dead?

  • Damn, never seen Hitchens getting hitch slapped by someone else!

Ali won this debate hands down!

  • what do people see Hitchens hes a very narrow minded thinker he cant dedate anyone with a deep thinking like ali

  • @qxw667

Hitchens cares about the Kurds in the same way he cares about the Palestinians, i.e. it's a misdirect. He's ultimately a State Intellectual, he works *for* Government and espouses their views in his work - so he pretends to care about Palestinian rights, to make his views on U.S Imperialism seem less extreme..

He may wear their flag on his lapelle, but 'Hitch' also claims that he has met Kurds who had pictures of George Bush II in their Cars..

    Liar.

  • @qxw667

Gulbuirk (Much as it pains me to say it) is right, Hitchens belongs to.. the Neocons; the Neocons have.. Turkey as a U.S Protectorate and have no intention of giving anything to the Kurds, as Ali says in another of their debates ''The Bush position is that the Kurds are our allies in the North[Of Iraq], oppressed in the South [Of Turkey]'' - this isn't like Clinton, who armed the killers of the Kurds - but it's equally as cruel to the Kurds, Hitchen's pal Obama is continuing this.
