3D animated walk cycle done in Maya, with Old skool techniques- tons of squash and stretch, broken joints, follow through and overlapping. Theres a slight jolt between the looping films at the start, something premiere did and wont fix but there you go. Used the fantastic Moom v4 Rig.

  • I really really love the way you did this. It's incredibly cartoony with amazing squash and stretch. I really like working with moom because he is so much fun to stretch and play with.

  • Cheers! A fellow squashey friend! YEY! Wish more models available on the net were as good as this one for it.

  • where do you change the body? i like the full body on yours

  • In the main body control around his feet. Theres options for body and arms i think. Put it to highest quality for final render :D

  • @Crannaz do u know and if yes where (online) can i get characters like moom stretchy but not as much stretchy as moom any site ? plz help

  • hahahaha this is exactly what i need for my characters walk cycle hahaha, fuck that is awsome, timing is a little off but thats a fucking awsome walk cycle

  • I love it, except I think his feet need to go out more when he walks. Give him some foot flare.

  • this is awesome!

  • love the side views!

    keep it up

  • Very smooth, i like the breaking joints. A bit to exagerated even for an animation but it is OK!

  • i can bend my arms like that...double jointed!!

  • Ahaha grear job!

Elbows could break while going back to front. It'd give even more flexibility to the arms!

  • great well done!

  • This has to be the smoothest and cleanest walk cycle I've ever seen. And trust me, I've seen hundreds.
