  • amazing!;)

  • excellent move though

  • I agree that the casting for Johnny was not accurate...in the book he was very handsome.

  • I just finished the book! One I will never forget :)

  • My favorite ever Christmas movie! My wife bought me a copy for Christmas this year and we just finished watching it together.

  • This movie is wonderful. Many thanks

  • Oh, just another comment, the casting for Johnny Nolan doesn't fit the portrayal in the book.....just my opinion!

  • I loved this book but only read it when I was in my 40's. (I am now getting to 60...hmmm) I always had a problem reading fiction because it wasn't "real?" I could read biography's of course because it was about a real person! Needless to say, my reading list has expanded, but, I think it depend on how fiction is written.

  • @JonasBrosFan17

Did you notice other differences in the book and movie. I have a teenager who struggles retaining what he reads and this movie was reccomended as one that stays pretty true to the movie. I have not read the book or watched the movie but was getting him to for a reading test.

  • I love this movie. The interaction among people is so interesting. I like how the insurance man spreads " information". The mother has trained her children to respect elders and how to act around " company". She also respects her husband and defends him to others. What a good example for wives who have " less than perfect" but loving husbands.
