I'd love to go to this restaurant. I'm in Mississippi twice a year. There's plenty of good food in Mississippi but it's hard to find. You have to ask folks what they like to eat and where they go. People there know food because everyone cooks. But almost nobody knows wine. They think wine is for alcoholics and most of the counties I go to are dry. One of my favorite restaurants is Earlene's Halfway Home. It's a soul food place. Very rustic. It is NOT fine dining but check it out of you dare.
Famous Chef Robert St John's candid comments on growing up in the South, the 5 "F"s, "My South"... great interview!
