  • On the 1985 "original masters" CD that I own, John Ratcliff did the remix of this song for the album. As it is a 1985 CD, this CD has plenty of dynamic range in it and does not suffer from the "loudness wars" affecting today's CD's.

  • This was remixed for the album "Hunting High And Low". I have the 1985 version of this album, brought cheap at a second hand store.

  • just indiscribable amazing music....AWESOME!

And I just love this pic, one of their best!

Back in the 80's I've had this as a big banner on my wall!

    Forever a-ha!!!!!

Unbelievable! (in a good way) Morten Harket's voice (and beauty) rivals that of angels! I have an A-ha album with this song but not this version. Yes it does give me chills also. It's haunting! It's the song that really describes Morten and how he lives his life. What a boy's adventure tale indeed! Beautiful! I wish there are any other words that could be more meaningful and more profound.

  • It gives me chills. So magic. So incredible.

  • @ucfbtm also the song out blue comes green is a great non single song

  • they will comeback, no one has to cry obout it, they were toghether too much time, is a question of time maybe 3 years, but i really dont believe they are splitting, by the way this demo is from the shack in asker 82?

  • Interesting listening......

  • Many thanks for sharing this ultra-rare treat. It's always interesting to see the demo versions which were either ditched entirely,or considerably polished up and reworked for 'release'.This has always been my favourite non-single track - arguably one of my all-time favourites. We can tell why they opted for the album version. But this is a valuable look into their creative process, and it provides a rich legacy.Congratulations.Again thanks
