The armed forces of the Lao people were born of and are made up of people of all ethnic groups and are led and educated by the Lao Peoples Revolutionary Party. The armed forces are always loyalty to the nation and Party, full-heartedly serve the people and are dedicated to fulfilling their tasks.
Over the past 30 years, the armed force of the Lao people have expanded their traditions, strengthened themselves and participated in constructing the Lao PDR with peace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity.

For all time the Lao people have glorified their Fatherland,
United in heart, spirit and vigour as one.

And proclaiming the right to be their own masters.
The Lao people of all origins are equal
And will no longer allow imperialists and traitors to harm them.
The entire people will safeguard the independence
And the freedom of the Lao nation.
They are resolved to struggle for victory
In order to lead the nation to prosperity.
