I have been using Peace Lilies for years as aquarium plants. I put them in pet bottles and I let the roots grow in the water with dirt and the foliage is allowed to extend into the air. They stay in the aquarium for about 2 months, then I rotate and let the previous "dry out" and bloom. Fish love it and it's much easier to maintain than regular aquarium plants.
