I know exactly how you feel. i recently came back to my home town as a openly gay, young adult. I was treated terribly. i can take rejection but i had some guys laugh at me, ignore me, talk about me behind my back. it was the worst time ever. i had never felt so insecure ever. I'm nice, smart, fun. When i went to college and the guys there treated me great, so i know its not me. yet they just couldn't look past the exterior. i know ill find someone but, it fuckin hurts yaknow..

I"m gay but the str8 guys I work with just talk about tits and ass. For me a cute guy sends my loins reeling but I know any relationship wont last without an internal connection. Problem is I think since we were conditioned not to look for love with the same sex we are forced to grab sex and the illusion of love for one night. Only when we are truly accepted and encouraged to love by society will our behavior begin to change.

And I understand why you feel that way, people who only look for a great body is just shallow, ignorant and brainless. If I was in your age and did not have a boyfriend. I would have dated you if I was an American and lived in your country. But don’t care about a persons job and career. It’s how a person is from the inside that matters. Yes gay people are shallow; I know it and I have experienced it. Most young gay people I have spoken to seek men who have a lot of money, plus good looks and a great body. I was straight and I was coming out at 28. I am now in my late 30`s. Norwegian gay people and a gay man are just shallow and only looks for a great smile and a body,to have as comfort. Gay men have saunas, glory holes and other perversities and I sometime feel ashamed because I am gay because of these stereotypes…

I think a lot of poeple in general are shallow. As I said before if they are the hottest person you ever seen, but have no personality(or brains) then its a dull relationship. I consider the person inside more important to look for.

I would never Date an Air Head. I feel ya On the BF being Smart and getting a job. Guys are age are to focus on looks.
