@Webber147 Alex Higgins, at 40, defeated Stephen Hendry who in that same season won the Asian Open, Dubai Classic and the UK Championship and the following season won the World Championship. Jimmy White, who came from the eighties continued to be competitive in the nineties. Alex was always a match to Jimmy so had he been Jimmy's age he would have adapted. Tony Drago has recently lost only just to World number 6 (at the time) Day.

@Webber147 Would you cop on. The equipment years ago was worse than now, and there were alot better players in the 60's to 2000s. Joe Davis being one of them.
