The max. log diameters up to 5-1/4".This is the newest & fastest tenon making tool in the world. This tool allows you to to spin a tenon or hand turn a tenon . The carbide tipped router bit allows you to make radius shoulders or angled shoulders. Changing the router bit to a straight bit allows you to make square shoulders. All you need is a router motor & you can start building log furniture or log handrailing. Watch as I drop one end of the log down to angle the shoulder. This is done after I make the tenon. No other tool allows you to do this. The more I drop the log end down the more of a angle I can put on the shoulder . The threaded rod even tilts so you can even put a slight taper on your tenons. This is one tool that won't wear you down by the end of the day. Spinning logs is easy !!

The router motor is only a 2-1/4 HP Makita Model Rp1100. & it's a variable speed. Any router motor will work as long as the router motor has a 1/2 collet and about 2 HP. We use the Tenon cutter for building log furniture & handrailing. Thanks for checking out the video.
