It's time for a new LP, this one of a game based on a book series that I absolutely adored as a kid. I think you can see where this is going can't you. In this first video, I cover the first 2 stages and the basic gameplay mechanics, as well as getting attacked by Chinese drug dealers, the Oriental equivalent of the railway children, waiters, maids and dogs. And there's still 12 levels to go. Oh joy...

i have no idea how you end up at the reception. i always end up at the annoying cleaning ladies and the worst possible collision detection ever like i go up when they are about to hit me but when i go back down they still hit me so yes i already die in the hotel while i nearly beat the game boy version

I have the Game Gear version of this!
It's better than this Mega Drive version, but that's not saying much, it's like saying "the shit I took yesterday wasn't as bad as the shit I took the day before".

Hey, I remember this episode/serial from when I was a kid!
I also remember a particularly dumb childhood version of me trying to solve the mystery before Tintin could.
Nice choice for an LP, Rainiac. Now all we need is the "HERGE'S ADVENTURES OF TIIIIINTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!" clip from the olde old cartoons.

Funny you should say that. I originally intended to include parts of the cartoon within the LP, but I'm afraid the curse of Youtube copyright struck again...
