This is an evergreen masterpiece in every way. Pancham and Bhupinder had gone to see an English movie and the next day when Bhupinder met Pancham, Pancham gave him surprise by singing this tune which he had composed on the theme music of that movie.
Really Pancham presented it the most beautiful way. Introduction, interlude and rhythm are matchless. Moreover Rafi Sahib and Asha ji's singing is superb.

Poor Vijay Arora never really made it as an actor but was a successful business man and recently passed away..

Zeenie was a trend setter..at that time no other heroine would dress up so contemporary in western outfits perhaps for a song and that's all but Zeenat changed that..she was the first contemporary heroine with a great figure and a superb sense of dressing creating the trend for heroines in western outfits throughout a movie. And she was always sensual and sophisticated in her persona on screen, sexy too but was never vulgar, truly an Oomph Queen that none can replace.

Asha Bhosle at her best!!
Wow...It was a golden period in Bollywood Cinema where Actors looked macho, even without displaying six pack abs and actresseslooked sexy without flaunting their skins in bikinis......

No one can beat the music of R. D. Burman. He was a master of fusing Eastern and Western music to superb levels. The originals are far better than the remixes.
