Me playing Keiko Abe's Prism. A pretty good run--a couple of rough spots, but overall pretty good (note that I nailed the huge octave jumps!). Constructive criticism welcome (no need to state the obvious errors, though).

  • hey do you know Mr. Fisher?

  • Of course! Great musician. :-)

  • what mallets did you use?

  • Encore Nanae Mimura mallets--I think they were the 3's? I wouldn't use them if I were going to perform this now. I'd recommend Keiko Abe or Ludwig Albert mallets.

  • love to work with you... i am based out of chicago... get a hold of me if your interested. my students are all at the top 5 music schools in the country

  • Thanks, but I already go to the University of North Texas. :-)

  • Amazing!!! Your hands are really fast and accurate! The only thing I would suggest is to hold back on your mallets

  • very excellient job on the music and sticking and stuff....but the only thing i would do differently would be to hold the mallets farther down...but that's about it.

  • cool he came to hawaii to conduct our honor band... we played strange humors, exultate, and the barnes symphony no.3

  • I'm using Gifford Howarth medium hards and they sound decent.

  • yea.

when i played this i used the david friedman mallettech vibe mallets. i thought they were pretty good too

  • Nice Job man!!
