I just meant to clarify the facts - that sadly it wasn't The Killers or Geldof's choice. Personally I would have had The Killers play on and cut all the other acts to follow except The Who and Pink Floyd. I'm just saying I can see why from their point of view they felt they had to save the 'bigger' acts. Shame though cos I could have watched the Killers all night. Sorry its my 3rd message but I really don't want to give the impression I am not pro The Killers!!!! Thanks

Sorry that wasn't my implication at all - I agree with you. If I'm defensive I'm defending The Killers! I am a massive Killers fan and would take them any day of the week over those other acts except maybe Pink Floyd. I was just saying it wasn't the choice of the band - or Bob Geldof's.

People have a right to love a band and to be biased towards it... And the people biased towards The Killers are watching this. For the record I hate music by Justin Bieber for example but if I went to a JB video and bitched about it then I would simply be a troll.

@caerus12 Don't make me laugh. For the record I love some of those especially The Who and Paul McCartney. But you're posting on a KILLERS video why the Killers getting stripped of their set is acceptable. Then when people retaliate, you get defensive. Your implication is you like all of those bands/musicians better than the Killers, and think they should have time in favor of the Killers. I know this blows your mind but some people love the Killers the best- many of them are watching this.

@bowdenator Everyone is dissing your comment on here. You are right! Running behind schedule they only let The Killers do one song. Geldof was furious and was screaming - no way- full set. Weinstein said there were major acts coming up that needed time. Geldof was overruled. In favour of the acts who still had to come on. Love The Killers but you can see their point, considering the acts were: Sting, Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey, The Who, Pink Floyd and Paul Mccartney. So all clear everyone?
