Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Video and Still Test on holiday in Lanzarote Jan 2011. These are raw video clips and photos directly from the X10, no Photoshop or video enhancer. I found it exceptionally good, I was travelling light by Ryanair and took no other camera with me.

I used the anti-shake on video but should have had a go turned off as I suspect it caused some jerking when moving fast. For the Flamenco I used the screen touch focus to focus on the stage rather than people's heads.

It performed very well indoors and in poor light conditions like the volcanic tube cave and restaurant, I did not use the low light function, it was left on normal. I have interspersed the video with raw still photos I took at the time, use full screen mode to see the quality.

  • fake,I saw a shadow from video camera

  • @GryGvan Thanks - I'm glad you think it's a video camera - it is rather good - except I forgot to turn off the anti-shake, which makes it jerk free. I live my X10.

  • @GryGvan where is it?

  • @fincasandaluciablog Lanzarote

  • has it got skype and a cemera on the front

  • @84WAKEUP It has only one camera, this was a condition of the Android operating system, the X10 will be upgraded to 2.3 within the next few weeks allowing Flash. I used the Fring app on holiday, made 1p per minute calls from abroad while having a beer at a WiFi bar. It works the same as Skype. I haven't looked lately, Skype may now be on Android.

  • This Looks Like Benalmadena costa area and Nerja caves Nice sea food lunch of Mejillones "Muscles" and Conchafinas o¡cooked on the griddle very tasty indeed !! Looks as though you had a good holiday down here with your Experia :-)

  • @itsmeboneslee Check out the quality in the cave

  • @VideoUser3053 Yes - the anti-shake function is constantly trying to compensate when the camera is moving, but, turn that off, or keep the camera still while on and the quality is like almost as good as a video camera, trust me. I had just bought this and took it on holiday to test it, I didn't realise the anti-shake was causing it to be choppy.

  • @Hunterbgpz yup -- looks v choppy to me and seems to be recording at around 20 fps.
