http://www.madadalian.com and http://www.healingintoconsciousness.com -- I was walking in Jericho Beach Park after the 7 day Self-Awareness Intensive and saw what's in this video. (I just happened to have my camera, so I can share this with you). I feel this turtle was left at the pond by someone who might have had it as a pet. It was interesting to see how her maternal instinct and how she knows what exactly she needs to do. According to Medicine Cards by Sams & Carson, "In Native American teachings, Turtle is the symbol for planet Earth. It is personification of goddess energy, and the eternal Mother from which our lives evolve. We are born of the womb of Earth, and to her soil our bodies will return. In honoring the Earth, we are asked by Turtle to be mindful of the cycle of give and take, to give back to the Mother as she has given to us." To me, Turtle symbolizes endurance, adaptability, and self-responsibility. Behind its tough shell hide many seeds of creation and tender care for all. I am happy to share this video with you. So this turtle is still at the beach?
I saw an eagle tear off a seagulls head in mid air at wreck beach last year...:) Crazy that you stumbled on to this event.
