  • Remember Insiginia - awful

Is that Mark Williams (Fast Show) in the Davenports ad? (good shot of him is 3:26 and he's on the right)

  • Yes it is Mark Williams. These ads are from the Central region. Mark Williams was born in Bromsgrove Worcestershire.

  • It was From Central Telivsion in the West Midlands. I couldn't determine the Year of these ads though.

  • Central Television started on 1st January 1982 and have made famous programmes like Family Fortunes, Blockbusters, Inspector Morse and Spitting Image. I was born in 1981 and if I have lived in the Midlands, it was ATV.

  • Methinks Grimace has a some sort of secret fetish! He doesn't give a damn about milkshakes, he was just covering his tracks in the presence of Ronald!

  • Whoops.....Carl Wayne ( lead singer in The Move ) was also singing on this jingle !

    A gross oversight..................

  • on Davenports Famous Bitter the singers are Joe Campbell ( writer of jingle ) Bob Saker & Clare Torry

  • this is when the macyds ads very fun unlike now

  • Think i would rather watch 2 hours of ad's than Firefox truly terrible film. I think i would say ad's from bout 86 too.

  • lol Mc'ds
