<3 If there was a way I would spend the rest of my life giving at least one meaningful hug to every person who has ever felt isolated, excluded, suicidal, alone, or worse. I know it won't solve the world's problems to just "hug it out" but it might make some people feel better if they knew that someone cares about them, even if that person doesn't know who they are, they are cared for.
so <3's are all I can do to share hugs across thousands of miles.
Kudos to you my friend. Suicide is not the answer. This is a beautiful, wonderful world. If things seems bad, do something else. Find a happy, safe place. They're out there. Move if you have to. A friend of mine who also did one of these "It Gets Better" videos runs a cafe. It's a comfortable, friendly place where people of any sexual orientation can hang out. There are places and people that don't judge. Find them. If you are thinking of suicide - don't! Something wonderful is about to happen.
Mercutio531 is very correct on this, it _does_ get better. My friends and myself have all lost too many friends to suicide, and the first thing you think, every time, is "what could I have said/done to have kept them alive?" Thanks for Posting this man, might see ya next Friday.
Bravo, sir! With all the attention on the GLBT suicide groups out there, for me, it's really nice to hear someone apart from myself say that suicide can be a problem for anyone! Like you, I don't know a single person who hasn't been there. Again, bravo and my personal thanks to you.
Excellent video. :)
