@HiMinds Thanks - that's a really positive comment

Is there stops on the way up to refill your water and get lunch? Where are these junctions? Thinking about riding this in few weeks.

Where did you start biking? I drove up it, and the climb was... intense even for the car and I saw ppl biking up from like...the base, where the homes are.

@phaschum I did this climb back in 1989, in about 5 hours. Most of the grade is less than 6%, but its harder to breathe around 9,000 feet up. The last mile or so is when you really feel the altitude. Pedal 15 seconds, stop, 15 more, stop, etc. This was one the best rides ever. If you're in decent shape, you can do it. But take twice as much water as you estimate. I ran out of water with 10 miles left, had to bum some from a passing motorist.

just to let you know, all the people who live in kula hate you people

at the 3/6/11 annual Fargo climb, I became the first person in history to successfully climb Fargo street...on a UNICYCLE! And I did it twice! Go to my channel at ttt8699 and look for "Fargo Street Hill Climb 2011 "UNIGEEZER" MAKES HISTORY!"
How long did it take you? I hope to ride it this October.

@phaschum I want to say it took us 7 hours but we stopped to enjoy all the views, had some lunch, and I was ill. Yes, I climbed Mt. Haleakala on a bike.....with a cold.

@bl00dw0lf6 This musicshake production SUCKS! I am changing it now....I have no idea how this song got on here, I must have let YouTube choose the music when they took all mine away for copyright reasons.

@LonelyXwalk I didn't have a problem with the thin air but we caught some riders that were really struggling with it.
