  • @kashcheyevs True but in order for the plant to close completely and have a full digest of its prey the insect must first struggle around inside the trap there fore causing the trap to close tighter #FTW! :P

  • it die after it eats but will regrow and will be bigger.my plants die cuz i was feeding it burgers meat.the store guy was like the meat to oily.

  • @kashcheyevs no hes right. the trap needs the struggling of the live bug inside to prompt it to close further, then it will eat it.

  • thats a big venus fly trap mine are about the size of a finger nail

  • @Cottoncandy185. They feed by them selves they attract insects and eat them by them selves but if u want to feed it u only feed one a week or more but not as much because they can only close 3 times before they die

  • Do they eat spiders? Bc if they do, I need one. Each summer, you cant turn around without seeing a spider on one of teh walls
