High School students compared Hydro Grow's 119w to HTG's 120w Led lights and Hydro Grow's 63w to a generic 90w UFO light from Ebay. We used cloned tomato plants from the same mother plant, used the same amounts of nutrients and kept the PH levels consistently at 6.4 in all systems.

  • which light makes the most energy output?

  • @Irishgirl41

The Hydro Grow light had the best output for growth and energy ratio. If you watch part 2 of this video, you will see the actual weighing and performance conclusions of the lights.

  • where do you purchase the hydro grow 119 watt light?

  • @legalizeit1983

I purchased it from hydro grow's website. Just google hydro grow led grow lights.

  • What variety of tomatoes are these?

  • @ProZachJ

The are an organic tumbler variety that is usually used in hanging baskets.

  • wtf is wrong with the guy on the left?

  • Tomatoes grown outside taste great. How do hydroponic tomatoes taste?

  • Awesome experiment; it's very well done. One thing I would have done differently is to grow more than one plant for each light just to be clearer about the results.

  • why is the guy on the left looking into the camera all creepy???

  • u should put a weed plant in there
