I'm just gonna say it, this whole book is a book of stereotypes.

I'm sorry but seriously, Ellen needs to look up the actual goth subculture before she writes a book about one.

Seriously she constantly talks about how goth she is, how much black she wears, plus goth people know they are an outside to society and except that and move on, Raven constantly complains about how no one gets her. I'm sorry, it's just that this book is sending out the wrong message about goths.

The Goth community and name has been soiled enough, for there to be a movie of VK, they better get a real goth girl to do it, and have goths pretty much guide the whole thing. If not, the movie will be an insult, and a good story ruined. The manga has done enough damage. :(

@kittyhernandez13 (I'm Angeldust155 BTW, that was my old account) I wasn't talking about imagination, it's about facts. Goth is in FACT a subculture based on music and here we have an author writing a book based around a goth chick who is a complete poser. It's like writing a book on the Holocaust when you know nothing about it. Also, I have the right to critique the book just like anyone else. I read the books, I have the right to voice my opinion.
