what a great tip that many amateurs tend to ignore

I just had a professional golf lesson and this is exactly what my instructed told me. First he showed how to check to make sure you're on plane when you get to the top of your back swing and then explained how you make a lateral move with your hips before rotating to the ball. Sure enough, front divot and no more fat shots. Listen to what this guys says, there is a reason he teaches at one of the best golf schools in the country.

17 years of blading, topping, shanking and losing golf balls, and NOW I find the piece I have been missing. Even the lessons I took never taught this.
