Toynami is crap and diecast metal is super overrated. High grade plastic sculpts better, it's color doesn't scratch off, and it doesn't loosen joints with extra weight.

Toys with lots of diecast are never as poseable as plastic toys.

To be fair, the original Gakken toy had pretty much the same metal content and that's not likely a coincidence. CM's likes to do that these days. I'm just glad to see CM's make a toy that isn't overly fragile and has exceptional quality control.

I really wish CM's would give the upgrade parts a wide (for them) release. They really do make a world of difference. The upgraded set is rock solid. You CAN fly it around the room and even do a barrel roll with it.

@dbonanno I can´t agree more with you and I say amen! Die cast metal is not a guarantee of good sculpt: look the Transformers masterpiece line, the figures are made most of plastic but its a good sculpt and resistant if you deal them with care. At the opposite, the Titanium line, made of die cast metal, suffers of loose joints and limited pose ability.
