  • @mashtones I'm not going to argue with your statement, but check this outKokomo had a MCB that didn't sound like this in 34 then in 35 came out with MCB2 this song. Around the same time , don't know who was first Josh White came out with New MCB.

Freddie Spruett MCB was similar to the NewMCB or MCB2 which we are familiar with in 26, not the exact words. Sleepy John Estes MCB in 30 were nothing about a milk Cow don't know where they got the title , maybe I need to listen to that one again.

  • Decca Records - pressed on brittle shellac. I had to Bing Record where he sang the classic "White Christmas". How do you think I felt when I picked it up -and part remained on the table ? The same thing happened without reason to a recording of Autumn Leaves ! I also just lost the start of an old Victor 12" 78rp of Poet & the Peasant. I don't get these probs with Columbia records !!

  • If you go to a REAL Western Swing dance in Texas, you can bet the farm they gonna play ol' Kokomo's pride and joy! And everyone's gonna dance to it!

  • The original was by Kokomo Arnold in 1934.
