Im tellin u , beats nowadays only last for a hot second inside a true soul. Beats like this right here tho light u up every single time you hear it. Many present beatmakers need to inject their God givin skills inside their music. It makes a difference .....

@STARTREKFANIMATED You need to hear it on a good sound system to really hear and feel the low end of the kick. If you haven't heard it in the club, then you haven't heard it. This track came out in 1990, way ahead of its time with the syncopated kicks on 4&5/8&1, plus the diminished horn chord falling between 4&5 with reverb turned way up. Listen to recent house tracks, soulful, deep, tech- whatever, and these motifs are coming back. It's a track made for dancing, not for armchair navel gazing.
