  • I love him so much. I don't say "humble" anymore, though, when I refer to him. I saw in an interview that he doesn't like that term because by definition, it sounds almost self-loathing. He said he tries to "have humility." I like that a LOT better :)

  • @natalieesmith1 I can see that. I've always thought of him as grounded...just a regular guy who happens to be a great musician but doesn't let the attention interfere with who he is at heart...it's admirable, I think

  • his voice is so soothing to listen too,but why is he so paranoid looking?

  • @kevo8t6 He's reserved from what I understand- not crazy about being interviewed.

  • @zalsgirl I like how he's so humble when hes clearly very talented! The fame not gone to his head clearly :)

  • @kevo8t6 yes, as a fan (and a fellow introvert) I really respect his attitude and the way he handles fame- love that he doesn't let the job make him

  • God I love Ray. No affectation, nothing put on. The man is his music.

  • This man is truly a Gift from God. Humbled by life's trials and tribulations which has shaped and molded him into the true artist that he is. He sings from the soul and spirit and from the pain which he has been given. Very wise individual we don't get many of his kind I see him and Michael Jackson very similar characteristics. True talent not made talent true talent. That's not made it was created by the masters touch. But with great talent comes great sufferings that's why he is so humbled.

  • the microphone looks unnecessary even though it is

  • Imagine Ray LaMontagne and Meg White sitting alone in a room with coffee, cigarettes and some booze. I would love to be an invisible person and witness the brilliant and awkward conversation that would ensue.

  • What an awkward interview. Good thing you're good at music, Ray.

  • "didn't you pick the wrong career?" Tactful answer to a tactless question.

  • Such a down to earth man, very cool, nice to see.

  • "I have grown a lot in the past 5 years. In ALOT OF WAYS" :D What does he mean by that, huh? :D :D
