so dang funny couldn;t stop laughing...keep up the good work!

I'd have to disagree, if you look up the song that he is talking about, he is correct. It s Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto.

Its sad really..... the loss of Victor Borge and others of his ilk - they were acomplished musicians who allowed themselves to joke about music, who appeared to play badly but playing as if you are playing badly, takes great skill and musicianship. We just dont have people like that around right now..... such a shame. VB was a star :) Comedy these days seems to be measured by how many swear words you can get into your act - it was different for these guys, they were fabulous entertainers.

Wonderful tribute to a terrific man. Victor Borge was and still is a world great.

@ciliaspippi Yes i did. For 5 years in my childhood, only basic theory. I had top scores. Let's see, then. C Minor. C is the key which is directly to the left of every-group-of-two-black-keys on the piano. C minor, for me, is this sequence: C-flat, D-flat, E-... Wait, what's the term for russian "beemole" in english? ... checking wiki... FLAT? /feeling_stupid /laughs Why oh why i was assuming that "flat" in english means "note with no accidentals". My bad, guys, my bad! :D

About 25 years ago, Mr Borge' came to a little town in Bloomfield Ct where i live. They would have weekly concerts throughout the summer, and would normally draw a crowd estimated at 40,000. When Victor Borge' came, the overflow-crowd was estimated by local police to be around 70,000. I don't think there is anyone else in this world that could ever compare to all his talents. When he plays seriously, i can get a tear. When he uses his humor, i just can't stop laughing.

@alciefrederic oooh wow. then i must learn it. thank you. *flips through his rachmanninoff*

@ninjaassassin27 the intro and the following part were of Rachmanninoff Second. However, the last part wasn't, like Borge rightly pointed out.

And when you hear that, there's definately something wrong, because that's TCHAIKOVSKY!

the pedal in the middle is there to separate the other two pedals.. He truly is one of the most remarkable entertainers in the 20th century.
