I miss this track more than anything still sad about it.Whats on the property now? I couldnt get myself to drive back after it closed.I wish there was a way to reopen brotherhood raceway.

Los Angeles Sheriffs Department along with the LAPD are currently trying to reopen it, progress is slow, but there is progress.

I think it aired @ '93. Get involved? Support by going to ralleys and protests. Have not had a protest this decade, but I think one is due.

"Run what you brung." Was their motto. I lived about a mile or so from the track. So every weekend the roar of high octane big blocks could easily be heard at my house and across the South Bay. It was music to my ears. After it's closing the area the track was in was being used to house petroleum coke in two giant domes. But since higher clean air regulations have come into play in LA Harbor they since have shut down that operation. The area now stands as storage area for locomotives

Terminal Island= Best Drag Racing Atmosphere Ever. Open Late, Atv's, Motorcycles,Foot Races, Lawn Mowers, Pretty Much Anything That Goes Forward, Betting Hot Dogs In Between Runs, This Place Was Like Something Out Of A Movie, I Was Very Young, But i Still Remember This Place. It Would Be Nice To Have A Track With This Type Of Atmosphere Again.

Big Willie is the ideal person in my mind . Considering all he's been through , he still has a strong constitution , and a loving Soul .

I live in S/W Riverside County ; and , there's a lot of space around here for a 1/4 mile track ... ~hint~ ... if Brotherhood Raceway's original location should fall through .
