you need a more dextrous hand or two handed approach. it's 'cheating' to have a receiving area designed to self align the item. it's not substantially different from a device where you could just pour all the items in and they would self correct.
the robot should be able to deliver the items in the same orientiation and position on its own. I believe I could improve your system substantially in a short amount of time. substantially ahead of anything else. contact me if you are interested
