@italTony1 Did you Ever Buy one? I am intrested to know from ppl if they hold up pretty good. I hear offten about ppl Blowing thier Rear diffs alot but i hear this is also the most common problem with the actul HPI Savage that this is trying to be. I have heard u can avoid this by keeping you Slipper Clutch lose as to not over torque your System, I also hear the plastics are craps but i have looked at Savage parts vs MB parts and they look to be interchangable. Whats ur opinion?

@jordanwinter2009 they do have replacement parts on thier web page and aver very enexpencive and actull most all parts are instock witch is funny cuz the trucks never are lol..

@Grizzyaneckin Savage Clone=Running Savage Kit. Its like buying the Savage in a Kit but having running electronics already installed 1/8 Foam Filled tiers =$80, 2.4 radio system despite the fact u get a Fly Sky with these trucks for most other Rc Brands Traxxas ect $70 and up, 1/8 Brushless motor $140-170 so whit all that being said for what they ask for this truck faults and all its is a damn good truck!! you cant expect to pay $340 and expect to get a RTR Flux no Way!
-
@dumbkkid Did u make a Dession? i am in the market for a new Rc and i Love the way this HPI clone looks i have had E-Z Run motor esc combo's in the past and really liked them and how easy they are to Program and it looks as though u can swap alot of the parts out of this with HPI parts so really its like a Running HPI Savage kit Witch Seems like an Awesome deal $15-20 here and there to put Savage parts into it to make it more Savage then Exceed seems do able but who has one i can talk with?

@99oldsintrigue2 Good to know i will keep my Slipper Lose when i Get mine. I also plan to get rid of the Bullet conector befor i ever run it i Hate Bullet Conectors!!
-
@7mattmck dont have to upgrade much just tighten the Sliper clutch all the way and the motor will send max power to the wheels..
-
@staticxmakoRC Yeah this may not be a hobby for you if u dont like fixing and repairing You Rc every time u take it out, No matter if its a Traxxas, a Losi. a HPI, or the Low end models you cant get away from it unless you get a Rock Crawler. I Hear some ppl say for its Price this is a good Truck how Ever if u Expect to spend $300 and get an HPI your High as hell but for being and HPI clone its like having a HPI Savage kit that comes with Electronics to bash while u save for upgrades..

this or stampede 4x4?
-
What did you upgrade on it to make it do a standing backflip?

THEkrazyBOY2596 1 year ago
@THEkrazyBOY2596 yes veryyyyy. i would get it if your thinking about it. just striped me wheel hex but no biggie thats the only thing i broke on this besides a screw that came out and was not threwlocked
i think the wheel hex stripping was due to me not tightening down the nut enough. i get scared to do it hard becuase im using a socket rench lol.
anyways i got RPM!!!! 17mm widemaxx wheels orederd at my local hobby shop so im gona get them and glue these tires on and rpms got lifetime warren
