A quality line-up for the 1980's BBC Pro-Celeb golf show - Sean Connery with Johnny Miller and Bruce Forsyth with Nick Faldo. Connery and Faldo both gone on to receive Knighthoods, of course. Bruce still waiting for his. Not too sure about the 'comedy' routine between Sean and Bruce though. Originally aired 1985.

*Bruce not waiting for his knighthood now!

  • @XELURST I've spent my entire life, pension and ruined 4 marriages trying to convey this point to everyone I've ever met.

  • @MrMGD92 yes,and his supply of Fruit corners,he can't go anywhere without them, helps with his acute vertigo,well..that's his story.I also don't dislike Bruce but,Anthea and I are very happy...now the restraining order on Bruce is in place.p.s The first thing you notice when you step into his celebrity lair is a 30 ft by 20 ft oil painting of his face...done by Rolf Harris

  • @BLONDBOMSITE Lol, do you mean you used to have to carry round his wig and mustache?did his wife leave him for you?I have never met this man and am not really one to dislike people, but in interviews I have come across his ego has a planet of it`s own.

  • @VIKKOFF you're not far wrong there,I used to live next door to him many years ago and he made my life hell with his attempts at singing and dancing until all hours....and he'd strut about the area in his latest bri-nylon hairpiece and force the locals to listen to his endless showbiz stories, the punchline to every one of 'em was 'then I said to Sammy Davis jnr........'

  • @MrMGD92 That's nothing,I was Falsythes wig 'n' tache caddy at Gleneagles many years ago,not an easy task at the best of times.I also had to tend to his wife Anthea, while he sat in the bar, boring all the other celebs with his showbiz anecdotes.Anthea and I are now happily living on a south london council estate.

  • @VIKKOFF I gess you "diden`t do well then"? I bet couden`t wait to see the back of him to see the back of him wait lol. :) if you had stayed you might have got a "Brucie bonus" sorry if that sounds a bit you know it isan`t ment to. :)

  • @VIKKOFF LOL,seriously?Bruce as James Bond? I am not one for not likeing celebrities most I can stand and have no problem with but with Bruce forsyth in the interviews I have seen him in he comes across as very very arrogant,he interups the interviewer and talks about himself, and i`ve heard him say to people "don`t mess with genius" I mean how big headed can you get?I have also heard alot of people say he`s not the nicest man to meet in person.he`s only got knighted cause he`s still on tv.

  • Am I the only one who thinks Sean connery is taking the piss out of bruce here?

  • It's great how Bruce tries to appear casual talking to Sean, but he just uses him to talk about himself.
