The chest clip is also not at nipple/armpit level and the straps look way too loose.

Wow he's a cutie!
And yeah, I second the first comment. When facing forward, his head will be whipped forward in an accident, which is bad news for a young neck and spinal cord. He will be just a happy backwards, and much, much safer.

I love that pattern on the car seat and the dancing was adorable!
Also, have you heard about the benefits of extended rear-facing? The AAP recommends rear-facing to the limits of your seat and kids are actually 500% safer rear-facing. Google it, it could potentially save a life! :D
