I have also problems with my p7000, but its more a autofokus problem..im hoping there will be an firmwareupdate...soooon

do you think this camera has a good auto focus though? meaning is it fast and accurate?

@bkajanetty I don't own the camera anymore, but when I did, the autofocus had to hunt a lot before it finally found focus, and often it never did. Sometimes it would try five times and then reboot the camera. All of this is also well-documented by other users on dpreview.com, in the Nikon Forum.

@jefflee9662 It was a gift, so I didn't actually spend any money, but I sent it back because it just wasn't dependable and was very sluggish when changing settings, etc.

@macatack71 Yes, I sent it back. Very happy with my Canon Powershot S95. Not as big a zoom range, but much smaller and a mature product that performs as expected, not slowly and unpredictably like the P7000.
