my feelings say , then the problem is probably easy to fix.
maybe to much dust inside , or replacing the x clamp or thermal paste will help .

if your xbox warraty is gone , and your trying things yourself .
my advise as Elektro wiz.
1. forget about TOWEL TRICKS or overheating the parts.
2, find a elektro wiz like me to help you out. and not some loser amateur as in this VIDEO.
3. replace the x clamp and thermal paste by higher quality parts ,and NOT some ebay trick set crap.
you people should think twice , before you let some moron screw your xbox.

@Demonboy121 Its getting less and less rare with the older PS3's now. a few of my mates with PS3's have had it and my Launch Day PS3 is running EXTREMELY HOT when not doing anything. a £425 expensive piece of shit id say!.

I fixed my 360, but a week later ms banned me cuz of the ban wave.........not from the fix btw....
