i would agree but it doesnt appear to have been permanently altered. most of his equip is bolted on and you can always put it back to its original form when hunting season is over. many milsurps have this option you should check out the k31's with the saint marie clamp on scope mount its rock solid and doesn't ruin a beautiful historic rifle. k31 lovers get pissed when they see mine with a sporter stock but i still have the original and it can go back to as issued form in 10 minutes.

@mautsta19 no,its a M44 Carbine...It had the short barrel from the factory...It just looks different without the SIDE-FOLDING BAYONET....
