@vvtipnis No Samta Prasad is a different tabla player. Shanta Prasad used to accompany Vilayat Khan (many years ago), but there are not many recordings of him.

All these compositions were played by Pt. Samta Prasad. Listen to any of Samta Prasad's records. What is Shanta Prasad's gharana? It must be Benaras.

@vvtipnis There are several recordings of "Samta Prasad" here on Youtube. I am still not convinced that he is the same as "Shanta Prasad". On the LP records from the sixties his name was spelled "Shanta Prasad". The sound is not the same as that heard on the "Samta Prasad" recordings on Youtube. There are also other recordings of Shanta Prasad here onYoutube (accompanying Vilayat Khan and Bismillah Khan), but not other solos, as far as I know.
