WHO TAKES THE PART OF GIPSIES IS A FUCKING IDIOT , IT'S EASY TO TALK ABOUT DISCRIMINATION WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE PIECES OF SHIT ,THEY ARE NOT A NATION THEY ARE PARASITES THEY DON'T HAVE A CULTURE AND THEY SHOULD BE DISCRIMINATED ,I KNOW THAT NOT ALL GIPSIES ARE LIKE THIS BUT THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE WITHOUT 95%OF THE GIPSY POPULATION .STOP LICKING THEIR DIRTY ASSES AND OPEN YOUR EYES

@LashLashLash You can't take the law in your own hands. You could die, it has happened before. The educational year began for high schools yesterday. Many positions were occupied by gypsies who didn't even make the passing grade, but were put in good high schools on ethnic accounts. Our taxes go into welfare for them. The rich clans bribe politicians into helping the police oversee their "legitimate businesses". And all this time, we're being kept down. I say again, come and see who's oppressed.

@Obatalawarrior The only thing worse than a criminal is a criminal who wears a police (law enforcement agent) uniform or badge. Still, I don't advocate taking the law into one's own hands unless in self defence. It is far better to petition politicians, organize marches, and participate in public demonstrations to voice a collective opinion. I think your friend was treated unfairly but the "gypsy" was probably treated "unfairly" for most of his/her life.

@LashLashLash The point of the matter is that the law protects them. Law enforcement agents will stand back and smile to gypsy gangs harassing or beating Romanians. Street crime is mostly handled by them, and state agents are on the payroll. Someone I know wasn't accepted into med-school because a gypsy with a lesser result got ahead. Just because he was one of them. The fact that the mark he got at this test was smaller than my friends' wasn't taken into consideration. Think that's fair?

@LashLashLash Your are an idealist ,believe it or not i'm a idealist to,but normal solutions are just to impossible, you will have to take every gipsy child and place it in a nongipsy family. All the problems come from their early education. To give you an example:just 2-3 weeks ago i saw a gipsy mother with 2 less than a year old twins and at some point the babies started crying. What does this gipsy mother do?She starts yelling and cursing loudly at her babies.THIS is their early education.

@CSRiddick I don't live anywhere near a Gypsy neighbourhood but have personally known some Gypsies. Also, I feel compelled to say that it is reprehensible to view human beings with the same proverbial microscope as insects ! However, an opinion based on more than 15 years worth of experience has definite value.
I don't have an easy answer, but for me a valid solution must be devoid of violence, intimidation, and segregation.

@DrStrangebomb1993 To some degree the Roma peoples' own actions have caused them to be immensely disliked. I am not discounting your experience and believe you to be sincere. Eastern Europe has experienced a lot of wars and economic upheaval recently which has created and emboldened ultra-nationalistic racists with violent murderous intent who despise minorities of any type. I would not want to see any person, including a gipsy, fall victim to the schemes of such racist ultra-nationalists.

@Obatalawarrior People who mug and beat others must answer to the law. I cannot defend such actions. It is my understanding that the Romanian government offers scholarships etc in an effort to integrate the Gypsy people. A lot of Romanians will see this as reverse discrimination and some as oppression. I believe that refusal to integrate is a serious issue; Especially when incentives are given by the government at the expense of taxpayers. However, forced integration (euphemism) has failed.

@LashLashLash One question ,do you live anywhere near a gipsy neighbourhood?Dont think so....I wonder what your opinion will be if you would move here for 1-2 years.....dont have to wait that long i'l tell you my opinion after living for more than 15 years in a gipsy neighbourhood: They are more primitive than bugs, but to be honest bugs at least are very important to the ecosistem while gipsy's are complete useless to the society. They are parasites that needs to be eradicated.
The above comments are full of hatred and ignorance. The comments exemplify a inhumane, criminally violent extremist attitude. Intelligent humane solutions based on understanding produce long term peaceful results.
If the people who posted these comments were subjected to the same conditions such as the Roma have suffered since the 1300's, I am sure their views would be different.
European nations will be better nations than they already are if they deal with such issues in a humane manner.
