this sounds like a flat plane v8. anyone knows?

@leonmatthew7 The popping and banging is nothing to do with engine size, as you say you can get anything to pop and bang if you want, it was the engine mapping. As standard the 4.2 didn't pop and bang (as much) but the 4.5 had a different engine mapping because TVR decided customers would like the popping and banging on overun. They both sound great though.

cerbera with the round lightss.. !! (y)

Don't be so stupid Jarrus!!!! Course the 4.2 would still do that. Any performance car / bike can produce overrun and pop like that. 0.3 litre don't make it suddenly not do it! My mates old vauxhall vx220 would even do it-all the time! So come on man don't say such ridiculous things. Just makes u look like a right Div. "they designed it that way" haha. Pleaaaaaase!

@CARBON996 it's definately the 4.5, the 4.2 does pop and spit on the overrun like the 4.2 does
-
@jarrus464 no its a 4.2 to old for 4.5 and i don`t think you would put 4.2 wheels on your 4.5!
-
@tvorchay it's the 4.5, only the 4.5 pops and bangs on the over run,
the engineers designed it that way....

@VooDooXII Agreed! =)

Actually I guess that's somewhat refreshing to know. I just came off of an Alfa Romeo 164 so I'm a bit familiar with unreliable cars! There's something very special about TVR. They're everything I like in an automobile.
It's a TVR designed V8, the Cerbera Speed 12 had a V12 engine formed by sticking two of the TVR Speed 6 (Inline 6) engines together.
