This is the second night that the Council car removals have occurred after midnight on the road outside for blocking the right side of street during the Thames Water pipe replacement on the left side.

Video clips at the beginning and end here show this at 0038 on Wednesday, 04.06.2008, and at 0150 on Bank Holiday Monday, 26.05.2008. This is a very noisy process with the most noise not included in these videos since I began filming each one after the auto was on the flat bed truck.

Unbelievably, on Bank Holiday Monday, 26.05.2008, some nine days ago this activity started just after midnight and went on for several hours until at least 0300 and possibly 0400. There was much shouting from people outside when this began on that date and as late as almost 0300. The video clip here shows this in the middle at 0150 in the morning.

My question is why hasn't this been done in the day or evenings since this very loud disturbance after midnight which has gone on for hours most definitely disrupts people's sleep and especially that of the children. Imagine being subjected to this all night on a Bank Holiday Monday.

It becomes a major contributor to antisocial behaviour especially when it is seen that the Council is carrying out excessively loud car removals after midnight for hours.

The two video clips in the centre are from a week ago about noon on Wednesday, 28.05.2005. They show the length of the road where the works are being carried out on the left and the area on the right where parking is suspended.

This reveals the significant number of residences which are disturbed by this very loud noise nuisance from the Council after midnight that has gone on for hours in the middle of the night.

The other clip shows the recycle Blue Bin area a week ago where the new green recycle clothes bin had just been delivered the day before on Tuesday last week shifting one of the recycle Blue Bins to a distant spot behind the benches and trees.

This occurred the day after the disturbed Bank Holiday Monday with the hours of vehicle removal taking place after midnight which had followed on after a Sunday morning recycle Blue Bin pick up at 0830 although this was subdued by the pouring rain and absence of recycle Orange Bags fly tipped on the ground that particular Sunday.

This activity appears to occur day after day. Last week it seemed that the Council was deliberately disregarding the residents in this area by carrying out antisocial behaviour in the middle of the night and ignoring the safety and health risks involved in this recycle waste disposal.

This was a three-day sequence of actions which were a triple hit of disregard for this environment and its people.

I can understand the need to keep the road open for emergency vehicles, but why can't this vehicle removal be done earlier? I suspect that it would be just as effective.

The problem as I see it is that this environment is at the bottom of the list for getting things done including a general disregard for the people here, hence the recycle Blue Bins are emptied on Sunday mornings about 0830 and the vehicles are removed after midnight.

These are only a couple examples of this deliberate disregard which persists as a management pattern in this environment making a significant contribution to overall antisocial behaviour.

It appears as if those with power feel they have the right to punish people arbitrarily based upon their whimsical disregard for a duty of care with respect to safety and health for whatever personal reasons they might have. Removing these cars is punishment for the offender, but doing so after midnight punishes every resident nearby.

And, then teachers the next day wonder why students are inattentive, restless and disruptive at school. Children respond unconsciously to this kind of treatment in dysfunctional behavioural ways. This is not the only contributory problem to antisocial behaviour but one that is obvious and should not occur.

If you look closely below the ramp up to the front door during the pan of the road, you will see furniture (carpets?) dumped from the door area above down to the ground in front of the door area below.

One item is on the slanted wall to the ground and can be easily seen. This is yet another example of the cleaners disregarding the environment and residents overall in effect punishing everyone with this arbitrary dumping in front of the lower door.
